It is autumn! What gorgeous days we’ve been having here in New England! I’m so glad the weather is holding out so I can get outdoors to do the deconstructive Screen Printing that I just learned! These are stars of the show right now. In the early summer all of the logenberries fall off the tree at once around the fourth of July. But now something has been eating into all these leaves and I’m left with some fabulous leaves to provide texture with on my screens!
Everywhere I look I see possibilities to use in my art! Below, some Autumn Joy and tall grasses at the Ipswich River Sanctuary.
I have never seen autumn joy before…it is very pretty

You probably have but didn’t know what it was. Scientific Name: Hylotelephium telephium. ‘Autumn Joy’ (synonym Sedum x ‘Autumn Joy’)
