MODERN SPIN: CONTEMPORARY TEXTILES IN AN HISTORIC MILL

The joint was jumpin’ at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River last night! I got to meet some of my favorite textile artists last night, Sandy Gregg and Diane Wright, whose work I have admired for some time now.

Sandy Gregg’s work:

Thirty Cups. Sandy Gregg. web detail. cups. web

Diane Wright’s:

City Wall. Sandy Gregg. web. City Wall detail. Sandy Gregg. web.

You can see why I their work appeals to me. especially in light of my own piece in the show.

Janis Doucette:

Views... Views From A Road...close up

What they all have in common is the hand printmaking.

More to show at a later date!

Better yet, you can take a spin down to Fall River where they’ll be shown until  DEC 27, 2014!
