Frank Gehry‘s Stata Center on Vassar Street in Cambridge

I took this photo back in 2006 with an old point and shoot that only took pictures at 72 dpi, but it’s still a shot I like and was reminded of it this weekend when I saw a similar shot by another photographer, Asine Storer, who I just met as she was also doing a booth at the Melrose Arts Festival.
I didn’t do much in the post edit other than to lighten it up in PS3 by adjusting the exposure and using the Curves tool.
Here’s the original:
Linking up with Robyn, hostess of this ongoing One Four Challenge here!
That building is not far from my house and every time I walk by I take another photo, and yours is a great one. Have you ever tried to turn it into a quilt or other artwork?

It’s such a great place! I used to work in it, so I have a few shots, but no I haven’t used it for any fiber art but it’s a good idea! Great neighborhood to live in!

Gehry is such an amazing architect – I’ve only seen his Guggenheim in Bilbao but it was designed so much with the surrounding architecture in mind I was an instant fan. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with this image!
