WPC: Heritage

Every year the Wampanoags of Mashpee, MA demonstrates the dance skills of their tribe and those of their friend and neighbor tribes who participate in an annual Pow Wow. This photo was taken in 2005.  When I lived on the Cape, I always attended the Pow Wows.  Perhaps I’ll get to one again sometime soon,  but not likely this year.  It’s being held the first week in July if you want to catch it yourself.
