It’s all been about cleaning up inside and outside and reorganizing, but when I get to the eco print mode my focus has been on experimenting for much of August. Changing things up, trying new options. While I have been developing a new system for documenting, for this post I’m on a hiatus, so please don’t ask because I don’t have the time to do it. Time is still very elusive – here one minute and chunks of it are gone the next. So here are a few shots that I really like for some reason.
As you can see, I’m enthralled with these fascinating sweet potato vines!
Although I still have some remaining tasks I’m working on for the Explorations Exhibit, I expect to be turning over a new leaf, so to speak, for this new month of September. Today I scoured and mordanted a bunch of new smaller silk scarves and about 4.5 yards of some lightweight silk noir.
By the way, it turns out that my work will be in the second exhibit- in April 2019. Here are the dates for both of them. Put this on your calendars now because it promises to be two stunning exhibits you won’t want to miss!
