Has it ever been a busy, hectic year! It’s been non-stop since I began work on OURstory: Human Rights Stories in Fabric last December, which we still haven’t been able to show you, although it’s been getting some good press at the International Quilt Festival at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Then, on to March when the activity started for the Explorations Exhibit which will finally culminate in April. As soon as that was finished I immersed myself in the reorganization of The Gallery, which we are still awaiting final word on. Meanwhile our critique group, Stitched Connections has had two exhibitions, one at the Andover Library and the current one at Beebe Estate, which will continue through this month. The Melrose cable channel videotaped us at the Beebe Estate last Friday evening and the photographer took a wonderful photo of my sister, Marie and I with some of my Family Stories quilts behind us.
Now, back to cleaning my poor neglected house!
