Juggling Projects

I’m juggling a bunch of projects at the moment.  I don’t even know how many art quilts I have in process right now – a bunch – and some mixed media pieces  as well.  Taking and processing photos is ongoing and I’m playing with how I can make those photos work in my fiber art.  Of course, as usual, I’m waiting for more products to arrive: InkAID and more fabric (silk, cotton and organza) to print on are on the way.

Here are two of the current quilts I’m working on in close to finish up stages.  This first one came out of playing with developing some new designs a week or so ago and here I’m using string to audition a FMQ pattern.

This is the second from this design in which I’m also incorporating photos on fabric into the mix, along with some shibori and sun printed fabric and some printed with my hand carvings.
