For all of my firm beliefs in the politics of food and that I stand vigorously in support of ridding the world of carcinogenic Monsanto products, I submitted a politics free playful piece! But it does express both my love of food and art!
My quilt will go places that I’ve never been and will likely never get to see.
If you go here, you can see a selection of other pieces of textile art in the exhibit – it’s quite diverse and fun to see them all. Click on the images to see them in a larger format where you can see them in more detail!
I’ve had my copy of the catalogue for some time now and am looking forward to seeing the exhibition in the UK. Interesting to see that very few of the pieces selected addressed food issues.
