Seeing Differently Challenge #6, 7 & 8

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t think about taking this picture, but since I’m on the lookout for seeing my photo shot selections differently I was moved to take these and I’m glad I did. It’s a little piece of history in my hometown, Melrose, MA. You never quite know when the landscape could change due to encroaching gentrification but not much has changed on this corner for years.blue-bell-cornerin-by-11laundry-worker

    1. Thanks Robyn! This establishment is a block from my grammar school so I saw it everyday of every school year. I decided that day to begin taking photos of my hometown and these were among the first. I like them posterized but I will probably reshoot them for clearer shots. I thought it best to begin in areas I’m most familiar with.

      1. I love the idea of recording your hometown and I agree that both posterised and real are a great record. The posterising certainly adds a lot of interest!! 😃
