The weather cooled off considerably last week but it started to warm up enough to get out to the wet studio yesterday. Was it worth falling into the Atlantic in early April in New England to hold onto my bags of seaweed?! My sister Marie was still laughing hysterically when she took this picture!
One of my very first ecoprints was with seaweed but these are a real improvement over my first attempts. You bet I’ll be going back for some more seaweed collecting!
Tghe frist three are on silk noir and the last on charmeuse silk.
These are unwashed but they’re in the washer set to “handwash” as we speak.
